Visit Harlech, owned and operated by Williams Marketing, is committed to supporting local businesses by promoting tourism in the area. By joining our network, you gain access to various marketing and promotional opportunities designed to increase visibility and attract more customers to your business.

These Terms & Conditions govern your membership with Visit Harlech. By joining, you agree to abide by these terms.

 

1. How to join our community

To become a member of Visit Harlech, follow these steps:

1. Visit our website www.visitharlech.wales

2. Choose your package (Bronze, Silver, Gold, or Platinum).

3. Provide your business details directly on the website

4. Send all images required for your profile to visitharlech@gmail.com

5. Each year your membership will be renewed automatically, but you can cancel at any time.

6. A certain amount of social media promotion is included with every plan on Visit Harlech. This exposure is subject to Visit Harlech's discretion and is not guaranteed.

 

2. Annual Membership Details

2.1. Membership Costs

  • The cost of membership packages varies. Please refer to our website for the latest pricing.

  • Membership is designed for small businesses (maximum £200K turnover per year).

  • Larger businesses (turnover exceeding £200K): Please contact us for custom rates.

2.2. Admin Fee

  • All membership packages include a one-time setup fee of £30 for website listing.

2.3. Standard Membership Includes

Each membership includes the following benefits:

  • A single advert on one of the following pages: Activities, Eat, Stay, Shop, or Services (unless otherwise agreed).

  • Business title & description (maximum 150 words).

  • Images (JPEG format, each less than 500KB).

  • Contact details & website link (provide URL).

  • Social media links (provide URLs)

3. Membership Policies

3.1. Simple & Transparent

  • No additional membership fees – you only pay for your chosen advertising package.

  • Application review: All applications are reviewed and approved by Visit Harlech to ensure quality listings.

  • Full refunds: If your application is rejected, you will receive a full refund.

3.2. Your Responsibilities

To maintain an active and high-quality listing, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and up-to-date information for your listing.

  • Submit business descriptions within the 150-word limit.

  • Provide clear, high-quality images of your business (send to visitharlech@gmail.com)

  • Keep your details updated by emailing any changes to visitharlech@gmail.com

  • Provide all website and social media links for inclusion in your listing.

 

4. Cancellation Policy

  • Membership is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.

  • You may cancel at any time, but no refunds will be issued for unused membership periods.

  • It is your responsibility to notify Visit Harlech if you wish to cancel.

 

5. Visit Harlech Marketing & Promotions

  • Visit Harlech currently operates on Facebook & Instagram.

  • Social media promotion is at Visit Harlech’s discretion and not guaranteed.

  • Content is carefully curated to encourage engagement and audience growth.

  • If you wish to discuss content for social media promotion, please contact visitharlech@gmail.com.

6. Financial Terms & Conditions

6.1. Secure Payment Processing

  • Visit Harlech does not store card details.

  • Payments are securely processed via our website’s server (Wix), which is PCI compliant and follows industry security standards for processing transactions.

  • Wix uses double authentication to protect against unauthorised transactions.

7. Data Protection & Privacy

  • Visit Harlech, operated by Williams Marketing Ltd., is committed to safeguarding your personal information.

  • By becoming a member, you consent to the collection and processing of your personal data in line with our Privacy Policy.

  • Your data will only be used for membership administration and marketing opportunities.

  • We do not share personal data with third parties for marketing purposes without explicit consent.

 

8. Intellectual Property Rights

By submitting any content (e.g., images, descriptions, logos) for your listing, you:

  • Grant Visit Harlech a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, and fully sublicensable license to use, reproduce, modify, distribute, and display the content in marketing materials, online, and in any media.

  • Confirm that you own the rights to the submitted content and have permission to grant these rights.

9. Limitation of Liability

  • Visit Harlech shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages related to your membership, including lost revenue, profits, or business opportunities.

  • This limitation applies regardless of legal theory (warranty, contract, tort, etc.), even if Visit Harlech has been advised of potential damages.

 

10. Termination of Membership

Visit Harlech reserves the right to terminate your membership at any time if:

  • You violate these Terms & Conditions.

  • Your conduct is deemed inappropriate, offensive, or damaging to Visit Harlech’s reputation.

  • If terminated, no refunds will be issued.

11. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England & Wales.

  • Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England & Wales.

12. Force Majeure

Neither Visit Harlech nor its members shall be liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Acts of God

  • Natural disasters

  • War or terrorism

  • Civil unrest

  • Government action

  • Telecommunications or internet service failures

13. Modification of Terms

  • Visit Harlech reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time.

  • Updates will be posted on the website or emailed to members.

  • Continued membership after changes are made constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
